There were seriously great bands yesterday all day at Shanestock. What a blast and we were do glad to be a part of it. Thanks to Matt Lizer for booking us and Fish Head Cantina for hosting. We will see you all soon!
One last reminder for tomorrow: Shanestock V- Fish Head Cantina in Arbutus- 4802 Benson Ave- Noon to late- $20 to get in, kids under 12 years are free and welcome until 9pm. Our show at Fish Head Cantina on May 11 for Shanestock V is all all ages until 9pm. That means you can enjoy Hangdog's set with the little ones if you're unable to get a sitter, or just want to bring the kids for a fun day outside! Hope to see you there.
Hangdog is working on releasing our first full length album and it should be out late May, early June-ish. We also are looking to play new and different places in hopes of supporting this project. We will play clubs, bars, house parties, festivals, or any other event that warrants good original music and dancing! Saturday 4/20- Hangdog now caters to the suburbanites during the day. Join us and several other local favorite such as Pasadena and Bond and Bentley at Cancun Cantina for their 4/20 outdoor party! Music begins at 2pm, we should be going on around 2:45.
Friday, 4/26- THE club to come see Hangdog perform, as we have 8 other times. We will be playing with our friends Getamungstit! on a Friday night at the 8x10. Special guests The Rad Trads from New York will be kicking things off
Saturday, 5/11- Shanestock V- Another all day indoor/outdoor party at Fish Head Cantina. Party begins at noon. We are with lots of other local bands. Set times will be available as the even gets closer.
'Sup suburban cowboys and girls? Hangdog is going to be making an appearance at Cancun Cantina, on 4/20. We're joining many other local acts such as Pasadena, Bond and Bentley, and Bumpin Uglies just to name a couple. And, another unique thing about this show is we're playing in the afternoon! Good morning friends! We are happy to announce that we will be back in our natural habitat for a late Friday night date, at the 8x10! Mark it down now, April 26th. We will be joined by Getamungstit!. Federal Hill on a spring Friday night. Do it!!
What's awesome about Spring? About a half a million things. BUT- most notably: outdoor shows and music festivals. Shanestock 5 is happening May 11 and Hangdog will be there. Come out and support a good cause. Last year over 750 people attended. It's at Fish Head Cantina and it starts at noon.
A big THANK YOU to everyone who came out last night. Happy belated to Whitney Morris who joined us on stage to sing an old Etta James cover.
